The New Year So Far...

This new year is...higher gasoline prices, increase food cost and more unemployed at the same time job gains. So what is up with all this? I can not really say! The economy is either growing or not growing!  We still have a long way to go to have the economy moving since the Clinton Era.
I hope to see a  better economic growth this year.  Maybe a 10%! Give or take a few percentages. But to do this is to have job growth and more spending money for all Americans. To have spending money is to cut some of the taxes and cut the budget in key areas where it is need and not wanted.
For now we need to have lower gasoline prices to last year's average of $2.65 for reg. unleaded. This will help! But as you have noticed the average remains around $3.00 for reg. unleaded and it is slowing the economy down alot. Not to many Americans are going out as much as they did. Less restaurant business.
Now we  look at the food cost that is rising a bit. This means less donation to food pantries and less food to have at home.
The only thing I see is this year will be less growth than last year. Last year was not that great!

Holiday Season Economy

This holiday season may seem to have many problems. But we don't have to let it be that way. Our economy is slow and job growth is not what it should be at.  Our elected officials are trying their best, in what they think, would work for all of us. It is the People who gives ideas to the elected officials to help create a better economic growth and not just what they think!
Job creation has many factors to be looked at and to what type of employment will suit the people.  Some jobs will be taken away and some jobs will remain the same. Others jobs will be replaced to a new type of employment. (The key is to stop job loss in the next six months)
This is what we need to help our economy! So how do we create new jobs without lossing more? We create jobs that will meet our new supply and demand quotas and have new job sector areas in position to fulfil these requirements. For now we need the monetary currency to stabilize in value and more cash flow  into the economy. (A slow introduction of an extra cash flow not to bring upon inflation too early in recovery) To do this we need more work force than what the amount we have now. The present work force can only contribute the neccessary tax flow for both the Federal and State Governments demands of the tax revenues they need at present moment. [Tax cuts work in the short time frame and not for the long haul]
Simply to add about 300,000 jobs in the next few months would increase the tax revenues and would increase more money into the economy! But time will not grant us the opportunity at this moment of time. It would require about six months to have another 300,000 people employed. Another slow progress to recovery!
The present monthly rate of the job loss is about that number.  So that is why we need to stop the job loss!  Then we can gain in employment and tax revenues.
Another factor that hinders economic growth is the cost of transportation fuel. Crude Oil has gain more than the job growth!  The fluctuations of the market is causing the up and downs of Crude Oil prices.  Which in turns affect the economy as a whole. People are spending less as the price of gasoline goes up on a daily and weekly event. ( A freeze or cap should be in placed on the price)
It is not that the suppy and demand for gasoline that makes the price differences, but  the Stock Market speculations which seems to manipulate the price of Crude Oil.  These speculations cause  price variances of gasoline and the buying power of the consumers.
So what do we do?

Spring Time!

It is the time of the year to get the garden ready for the planting time. I have been busy planning and turning the garden soil for another year of vegetable gardening. This year I plan to grow a bigger and better garden than last year.
A two week planting will create a longer harvest time. I look forward for the harvest! But for now it is time to get everything ready. The manure will be next! Spreading it where the garden needs it. And some special tonics to give a boost to the new seeds and plants. Also the lawn will get a dose of the tonics! Nice green lawn with the garden.
I will have varieties of plants such as Roma tomatoes along with Rutgers tomatoes and many differnet variety of beans! I am not just doing myself. My brother and my nephew will be assisting in the work! As the work goes on the garden I will have some pics later to show how things look! So be patience!

Feeding America.

This morning I went to  one of Feeding America food truck to receive some food. I go to the these locations at times to help keep my food supplies full. My Bridge card for food does not provide enough. The people I meet and talk to are people that relate to me about the problems they are faced with. The hunger and lack of assistance to receive Food Satamps from the State. Many make just enough income that they receive little or no funding from the State's food assistance program.
So they resort to the food truck provided by FeedingAmerica. http://www.feedingameica.org/
The truck do provide food! But is it enough? I noticed that that there are no can items, such as canned soups, vegetables nor meat. Bread, cakes and yogurt can not satisfy the needs for groceries! Regualr bags of groceries that they need!
Our Food Pantries are taxed! And many have already had their limit for the month. They need more! How do we supply the Food trucks with more than just yogurt, cakes, cookies and bread?
The major West Michigan stores could donate some canned goods. So that the families can make healthy meals from the food they receive from Feeding America, instead of left-over foods that are provided.
We need to show these families how to grow some vegetables at home in a small garden plot. This would provide fresh vegetables. The Food Stamp program the State of Michigan has allows the families to buy vegetable seeds and plants to grow their own vegetables. We just need to show them how to create a garden plot and to plant the seeds and plants!
I am going to plant a bigger garden this year so that I will be able to provide some fresh vegetables to others for free, along with the vegetables I sell at my veggie stand. I can not do it alone! My brother will be apart of it , along with my nephew. This still is not enough! I hope other home gardeners will join me, along with the farmers of the State of Michigan to provide to others and to the Feedingamerica trucks of Michigan.

He, Who is I. Continue..

It was the 15th of March 2007. A sunny and cold morning.  When I had laid out the plan to secretly clone myself.  No one needed to know, not even my family nor my friends would have any idea.  This society would call me "insane" to ever think of such a plan and say it is against God.  I can hear the legal and religious debates going on.  Well, I figured to use my DNA.  Firstly, it is my idea, and secondly, I was a nobody to society.  i'm not going for fame nor fortune.  Just that I wanta copy of myself and to see if I can do it.  For now I'll have to do alot of research to find the scientists and doctors that might be interested in helping me.
Where I had to check is on the Internet for them thatwere doing the research into cloning.  It was just a beginning and a hard one at that.  I was given only some anonymous tips without success.  Four months of grueling hits ans misses and nothing...  In the mean time, I had read and studied, through the various theses of well-known scientists and doctors on and about the ethical and religious opinions they had about cloning.
I held my opinions and never expressed them on the net.  I had to keep them to myself for now.  I could not have any hinerances stop me!  i was determined to go through with the cloning, somehow, somewhere, someway.  I was a random combination of my parents' DNA structures that had created me.  So why was I not allowed to take the same sequence and copy it?  In essence, to have a child of myself.
I continued to use the Internet for the research.  Which I inquired the scientific commnity.  There were neither replies nor responses!  It was like an area not opened to discussion. "A No one home" sign hanging there.  then! On the 15th of September, I received a reply.  The date I will never forget.  It was six months exactly after the beginning. I  had opened the e-mail and I noticed the encryption.  so I uncrypted it.  All it stated was a GPS location, date and an entrance code.  There was no return address to say who it was from.

He, Who is I. Part one

What is cloning? A copy of oneself.  What would society think, if someone wanted to clone him or herself?  What would the outcome be?  The physical character and traits would be the same, but this individual would have different experiences and memories of life.
If I was to clone myself.  Then I would be raising a son of myself to watch myself grow and learn. It would be he, himself.  A true and perfect image of me.  The name I would give him, he would use to have freedom from me.  His own identity and not quite his own.
The Story begins...

May 2nd 2008

This is the day I have been waiting for a long time.  The dream has finally come true.  Anew life.  Iam so excited to see myself be born.  For the moment, it would be that, but it is another completely different person.
My responsiblility is to be there.  From this birth and throughout the years for my child.  Maybe to the end of the project.  I have to remind myself alwaysthat I will not live forever.  This child will make it seem like I will live on.  But this cannever  be entirely true.
This story doesn't begin here. It began on this day I decided what I wanted to do how determined I was to do it..
